Priya Kaur '22SGA Director of Academic Affairs
Finishing my sophomore year at Middlebury allowed me realize how many things I wish I could improve during my time here. I hope to make a significant impact on students' academic experiences, especially relating to making incoming freshmen more comfortable as they tackle higher education. As a first-generation student, I struggled with discovering my academic interests, and I wished there were more resources on easing the transition from high-school to college. The Student Government Association at Middlebury has proven that it acts in the best interest of students to make their experiences more memorable. I choose to join the SGA to help those students who think their input does not matter. As the Director of Academic Affairs, my goal is to bring more autonomy to the student body regarding their academic endeavors. I hope to facilitate a more open dialogue with administration, faculty, and students especially since a lot of significant decisions on academics are being made in the upcoming months.

Kenzo Okazaki '21SGA Director of Academic Affairs
I joined the SGA because of my experience with the Academic Judicial Board. I have found my work there to be extremely rewarding because I believe that our deliberations serve a positive function of defining who we are and what we believe in as an academic community. I believe that my position on the SGA will give me the opportunity to continue to fulfill this role by ensuring that the AJB is best equipped to serve this function. I am especially interested in ensuring that the sanctioning options available to the AJB best maintain the supportive nature of our community. I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity, and I will do my very best to bring about positive change at Middlebury.
