Committee Leadership
Alice Hudson '21SGA Director of Finance
I joined the SGA Finance Committee two years ago because I wanted to learn more about the ~200 incredible student organizations that diversify and enrich our campus. Since then, I have learned that these organizations considerably enhance students’ collegiate lives through cultural, communal, spiritual, physical, and social co-curricular experiences. I am very excited to continue serving on the SGA and improve our funding decisions in order to ensure that students’ experiences on campus are the best that they can be.

Mason Olmsted '21SGA Director of Finance
I joined SGA Finance Committee because I wanted to have an impact on the community that has given me so much. Through Finance Committee I am able to fund organizations on campus that add the a wide variety of students' lives on campus. Having an impact like that is something that I can be proud of when looking at my career at Middlebury. One of my favorite parts of Finance Committee has been taking a chance on a new club and the next year, seeing them come back with a bigger more ambitious budget. This always shows me the need for this particular org and thus the impact that the committee is having on the community. It's important to me for everyone on campus to feel part of a community and creating organizations that foster growth and community is the best way I see of achieving that goal.
