Welcome to Justice Projects
About Justice Projects
After a week of fundraising, SGA Vice President Roni Lezama ‘22 in conjunction with SGA Directors of Student Affairs Ellie Thompson ‘22 and Maggie Connolly ‘23 worked with the Office of Advancement to raise almost $140,000 for JusticeProjects. We are extremely grateful to have exceeded our fundraising goal and look forward to giving back to the affinity spaces on campus and funding your justice and DEI initiatives and ideas. Applications are now open! Start thinking about what you want to see happen on our campus! We encourage you to think big and work with your peers to make our campus more inclusive and welcoming to all students. Be on the lookout for a separate SGA email with details about the application and allocation of funds towards existing affinity spaces on campus!

Information for individuals/groups that have been already approved:
*If you find spending for your project will extend beyond the date indicated in your initial approved project timeline, you will need to resubmit your project proposal and select a longer project period.
**Should you find that your expenses will exceed the number of funds you have been approved of, you will need to submit a Reallocation of Money Request prior to completing any more transactions. If you find yourself needing additional materials that were not originally included in your approved budget, you will be required to submit a New Money Request prior to purchasing those items. Exceeding approved budgets by any amount without prior discussion with the Justice Projects Team is greatly frowned upon. Each proposal will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but should exceeding budgets without approval occur multiple times, it may result in losing the privilege for approval for future Justice Project fund requests.
